Importance in Outcome-Based Education (OBE): OBE shifts the focus from what is taught to what students actually learn and can demonstrate. By defining PEOs, POs, and PSOs upfront, the curriculum is reverse-engineered to ensure every course, laboratory session, and industry interaction directly contributes to at least one measurable outcome — making assessment meaningful, accreditation rigorous, and graduate quality consistent.
Graduates will demonstrate sustained professional competence in pharmaceutical sciences and practice — including drug formulation, quality assurance, clinical pharmacy, and regulatory affairs — enabling them to perform effectively as pharmacists, drug analysts, production chemists, or regulatory professionals in the pharmaceutical industry, hospital pharmacy, or retail and community pharmacy settings.
Graduates will assume positions of responsibility in their chosen professional domain and exercise sound ethical judgment in all pharmaceutical and healthcare decisions, upholding the values of patient safety, rational drug use, and public health, in accordance with the code of professional conduct prescribed by the Pharmacy Council of India.
Graduates will contribute meaningfully to pharmaceutical research, product innovation, and technology development — through higher academic pursuits (M.Pharm, Ph.D., or equivalent), industrial R&D roles, or by establishing and sustaining entrepreneurial ventures in the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, cosmeceutical, or allied healthcare sectors.
Graduates will remain professionally current and adaptable in the face of advancements in drug discovery, biotechnology, digital health, and regulatory science, by engaging in continuous learning, qualifying competitive examinations such as GPAT, NIPER JEE, and USMLE, and pursuing professional development programmes throughout their careers.

Possess knowledge and comprehension of the core and basic knowledge associated with the profession of pharmacy, including biomedical sciences; pharmaceutical sciences; behavioral, social, and administrative pharmacy sciences; and manufacturing practices.
