Who We Are

Pioneering Pharmaceutical Education & Research in Eastern India

Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology was established in the year 2005 under the aegis of Guru Nanak Educational Trust with the aim to achieve excellence in academics and research. The institute is situated at Panihati, Sodpur, Kolkata-700114.

GNIPST is approved by Pharmacy Council of India. This is the first Autonomous pharmacy institute in Eastern India accredited by NAAC. The institute has consecutively ranked in National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) for the last 9 years.

In NIRF 2025, GNIPST achieved an All India Rank of 85 amongst Pharmacy colleges. Our commitment to quality education and research has made us a preferred destination for aspiring pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists.
